It was not a GARAGE SALE but a GARAGE GIVEAWAY!
Some could not believe they could just walk away with things for FREE!
Some thought I was silly ---- I could make some money from the clothes, the electrical goods, the kitchenware, the beddings, the toys, the books, the accessories.....They asked if I was a 'foreigner' because this idea was alien to them.

Well, my kids had thought this was a way to get to know our neigbours. But to me, it was my way to thank the foreigners, especially those who are serving us with their hard work ---- work that we ourselves don't want to do, but they are here to do it for us.

So.....mission accomplished:
We got to talking to the neighbours a lot more than ever before; the Chinese nationals, the Indian workers, the Indonesian and Filipino maids came.
Moreover, it was a family affair and my kids got their muscles strengthened and conditioned without even going to the gym!

YAY!
